Highlights of the Week
1) Elon’s X.AI
Recently, interest in artificial intelligence technologies has been increasing and the number of those who want to have a share in this field is rapidly increasing. Elon Musk is among the important names aiming to enter this field as a rival to OpenAI. Previously, I told you about Elon Musk's plans to establish an artificial intelligence research laboratory rivaling ChatGPT. It seems that Musk has managed to establish a company operating for this purpose.
The name of the company in question is X.AI. This name choice is not surprising, as Elon Musk's fondness for the letter "X" is well known. In fact, Musk recently changed the name of Twitter's parent company from Twitter.Inc to X.Corp.
Elon Musk's contribution to developments in artificial intelligence is not limited to this. The famous billionaire recently purchased 10,000 GPUs for Twitter's production AI project. This was interpreted as an indication of Elon Musk's intention to increase his investments in artificial intelligence. It was also stated that this investment meant a serious expenditure for Twitter's data centers.
It cannot be said that Elon Musk has taken a new interest in artificial intelligence technologies, as he was already part of the founding team of OpenAI and left the company in 2018. With AI becoming so popular today, it's clear that Musk doesn't want to be left behind.
Elon Musk's first project with this new company, truthGPT, has been confirmed by him. I will talk about this crazy project at the end of the newsletter.
2) AutoGPT
In short, we can call autoGPT an autonomous bot that covers the shortcomings of chatGPT, which we have talked a lot about in previous issues of our newsletter. Because autoGPT checks whether the answer it gives is correct, corrects the error if it gets an error, searches the internet, and can even order for you...
You need to install this repo on your computer to use it:

3) Amazon Bedrock
Like all the world's technology giants, Amazon is entering the world of artificial intelligence with Bedrock. With Bedrock, it is aimed to produce outputs in many fields...
4) AI Village
A team of researchers from Google and Stanford University have created a virtual village filled with AI bots that behave like humans. Their goal was to create an imaginary environment that realistically simulates human behavior, and it looks like they succeeded. Let's take a look at what they did.
There are 25 AI bots in the virtual village and they can interact with each other. They can walk, talk, make decisions and exhibit human-like behaviors. Interestingly, there is a certain order in this virtual village.
Imagine that these bots can perceive what is happening around them and react like humans. The next step is to transform these bots into humanoid (or other) forms and bring them into the human world with augmented reality. Alternatively, it is also possible to use virtual reality to transport people to fantastical worlds filled with such "humanoid" robots. Both options are very exciting. -twitter: @gryhkn
5) Elon’s TruthGPT
Elon Musk, who entered the world of artificial intelligence with his company X.AI, announced that they have started a new project called TruthGPT. With this project, he says he is working on an artificial intelligence that tries to understand the nature of the universe and seeks the truth. You can find the full speech in the video below.
"An AI that cares about understanding the universe is unlikely to destroy humans, because we are an interesting part of the universe."
-Elon Musk
With this sacred purpose, I can say that TruthGPT has been the most exciting one among the artificial intelligence developments in recent months. I wouldn't be going too far if I said that the theme of our newsletter, the AI Ship, is directly in line with the purpose of this project:) We have talked a lot about the ship of Theseus paradox and the relationship between artificial intelligence and the essence of human beings. Elon, who is obsessed with unraveling the secrets of the universe, seems to want to include artificial intelligence in the thousands of years of man's search for meaning... Let me take this opportunity to invite him to AI Ship and offer to sail to new ports together. Who knows, on a deserted island, we might find the meaning of life inside a nesting oyster...
