Hello everyone, I'm writing this week's newsletter with great excitement because not only will this be the first article of AI Ship, but the developments in the field of artificial intelligence this week have also truly been revolutionary. The craze for artificial intelligence has once again become the focus of the world's agenda. Let's take a look at what happened together!

1) GPT-4
GPT-4 was officially announced by OpenAI on March 14, 2023, and was partially available to chatGPT plus subscribers hours later. This groundbreaking artificial intelligence model is capable of performing multimodal tasks that go beyond just generating natural language text. In other words, it has the ability to analyze and generate not only responses to user questions and provide information but also images and sounds. This makes it a versatile model that can perform tasks in multiple modalities. Moreover, while GPT-3 has 170 trillion parameters, GPT-4 has 175 billion parameters. Now let's take a look at some examples of GPT-4's capabilities.
a) It can write more creative content.
GPT-4 is more creative and collaborative than ever. It can co-create, edit, and iterate with users on creative and technical writing tasks such as composing music, writing scripts, or learning a user's writing style.
b) It can understand the images you upload.
It can even list dozens of options for what you can cook with the ingredients you have if you take a picture of the contents of your cupboard and ask what dishes you can make, and provide recipes if you want :)
c) It can analyze documents/content.
It can read and understand the content of texts/documents up to 25,000 words that you provide the address for, and then you can ask questions about the relevant content to get information.
d) It can solve complex problems.
This includes difficult math problems!
Of course, all of this is just the tip of the iceberg. What you can do with GPT-4 is entirely up to your imagination and creativity. After completing this newsletter, I'm going to have GPT-4 write the codes for my new website project :)
2) MIDJOURNEY V5
Another significant development of the week was the release of the 5th version of midjourney, which generates images based on the text you write. With the new version, I have nothing left to write; I'll put the generated images and their texts (prompts) right below and leave the comment to you.
3) GOOGLE WORKSPACE AI
Google announced the introduction of artificial intelligence features in Google Workspace. The first-generation AI-powered writing features will be available starting this month in Google Docs and Gmail.
According to Google's announcement, we will be able to:
Draft, reply, summarize, and prioritize your Gmail.
Brainstorm, edit, write, and rewrite in Docs.
Bring your creative vision to life with automatically generated images, audio, and videos in Slides.
Transition from raw data to insights and analysis in Sheets through auto-complete, formula creation, and contextual categorization.
Create new backgrounds and take notes in Meet.
Enable workflows to get things done in Chat.

4) Bing Chat
After Microsoft acquired OpenAI, the company that developed GPT, it activated GPT support for its own Bing search engine and made it available to everyone this week. In addition to the search results on Bing search engine, you can also get answers to your queries from the chat tab on the right side. You can continue chatting about your search and get more information. Instead of paying $20 a month for ChatGPT, you can use GPT-4 on Bing search engine, albeit limited, for free.
